NANCY SMITH KLOS, for whom "weaving is a spiritual meditation and
a way of living", has her BA in painting and drawing with a continual
love of fiber arts. She began tapestry weaving in 1990 and produces
both residential and public space commissions. In addition, Ms. Klos
offers workshops in Color & Design, Tapestry Technique, and
Marketing for Artists and Craftspeople. Her artwork has been featured
in Ornament Magazine, Surface Design Journal, Handwoven Magazine, and
most recently profiled in Fiberarts Magazine. The trademark of her
artistic style for pictorial tapestries lies in the materials chosen
(multi-fiber form hand dyed and spun fibers combined with commercial
yarns).
